About
Founded in Beijing's Caochangdi art district in 2014, Huan Design is led by principal designer Wang Huan and a 12-person team. The studio is recognized for its refined New Chinese aesthetic — solid-oak joinery, hand-loomed silk, and a quiet, restrained palette that bridges heritage and contemporary minimalism. Selected clients include three Michelin-starred restaurants, the Aman Resort Group, and the Beijing Cultural Heritage Bureau.
The best New Chinese work reads as ancient and inevitable — like the building was always meant to be there.
